Two Iranian professors Dr. Amin Talebi Bezmin Abadi and Dr.Mansoureh Movahedin were visiting on 6 – 8 of February 2018 Kazan Federal University, aspecially its biomedical cluster – the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology.
Guests have visited historical museum of KFU, simulated educational hospital, Biobank etc., seminars and negotiantions were conducted also.
A special admiration for our guests was caused by an excursion and examination of high-tech equipment of the research complex of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology located in the separate building on the Paris Commune str. 9.
This visit was a continuation of the previous one, which took place in October of 2017, when large delegation of Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran University of medical Sciences and University of Tabriz – prof.Khosro Khajeh, prof.Saeed Semnanian, prof. Massoud Amanlou, prof. Bahareh Dabirmanesh, ass. prof.Leila Sadeghi and 3 PhD students visited the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of KFU.
During that visit representatives of several Iranian universities agreed on with the structural units of KFU jointly with the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology to continue cooperation in the field of epilepsy research (prof.Rizavanov – prof.Khosro Khajeh), in addition, to conduct at least three more joint projects before the end of 2018, details of which are discussed, to organize international conferences on specific areas of biomedicine, incl. First Caspian International Student Congress on Biomedical Sciences 2018, to initiate joint programs on master’s and postgraduate courses.
Now more than 70 students from Iran are being trained in the medical sciences in the KFU. 3 Iranian PhD students also carry out their research on a high-tech and well-equipped laboratory base of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology.
During the visit, Dr. Amin Talebi Bezmin Abadi affirmed the continuing and long-term relations between Tarbiat Modares University and Kazan Federal University. The Helicobacter pylori infection and other related organism were the focus of intense negotiations. Bilateral agreement is a pivotal point for long term collaboration between two sides. He also mentioned the necessaritie for add an addition on recent MOU signed by universities rectors. Professor Mansoureh Movahedin said: “Spermatogonial stem cell is a novel research field and we hope to have join project with KFU within a year ahead”. Meanwhile, Professor Rizvanov and Professor Movahedin agreed on a posdoct position at KFU to settle new experiments in this field.
